New Delhi:A class 12 student, Cherish Banhotra, from a remote village of Jammu, was awarded at a school in New Delhi for showcasing her singing talent.
Banhotra was selected for the award at Queen Mary’s school in Tis Hazari by the committee headed by its principal Dr Ritu P Solomon, in presence of Chairman and Bishop of Delhi.
Cherish hails from border village of Kalyan Pur, Jhiri in Jammu.
On the occasion, she was awarded as best singer and Best Senior Prefect for 2019-2020.
People by large have appreciated the move to encourage young and raw talent.
