Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu commemorates ANNUAL DAY-MANAN in which Sanskritians exhibited prodigious endowment and synchronization. The function commenced in the beneficent presence of Mr Shailendra Kumar (IAS and Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, Principal Secretary to the Govt. Election Department) as Chief Guest for the occasion ,Mr. Shrikant Suse (IAS, SDM South) and Mr. Balwant Thakur ( Cultural Diplomat of India to South Africa)   as Guests of honor, Mr. Devraj Sharma   (Sr. Advocate, Jammu) as Special Invitee, Mr Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School), Ms Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice-Chairperson), Coordinators.

The function set in motion with the introduction about the theme “Manan” , presentation of saplings to the exalted guests, traditional lamp lighting . Ensuing this the junior school choir enthralled the guests and august audience with the melodious songs. Ms Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson delivered the welcome address along with junior headboy .The annual report was read by Ms Trishna (CCA Coordinator) highlighting the accomplishment of school throughout this session. Myriad number of performances like Saraswati Vanadna and Hanuman Chalisa, Mime, Dance of 7 states, Skit on Save Rivers , play on Shakespeare and Qwali left the audience in awe. The zenith of the show was the Grand Finale, Mile Sur Mera Tumhara which venerated everyone. The school’s felicitation ceremony innerved the excellent performers in different fields which served as a source of inspiration for others as well. Mr Shailendra Kumar in his speech motivated the children by sharing his experience , struggle done and existence made while advising them to start working towards their goal for its timely accomplishment. The chief guest for the occasion inaugurated Electoral Literacy Clubs in the school for the students from classes 9th to 12th . The Management of the school is highly thankful for the logistic support like resource material and hopeful for constant support and guidance in future in establishing Electoral Literacy Clubs in the school.

The event was compeered by Ms Shalu and Dr Isha and was relinquished with vote of thanks conveyed by Ms Varuna Mangotra ( primary wing coordinator). Speaking on the occasion Ms Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson acknowledged the efforts of the children and faculty for putting up such grandeur show. She conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to all the distinguished guests for their benign presence and asserted that the success of any event depends on the glory visible on audience faces and the merriment observant on the performers while performing.
