Jammu and Kashmir is likely to face Karnataka in the quarter-finals of Ranji Trophy.
The northern state is on verge of qualifying for the top-eight with both their competitors, Services and Odhisa heading for a draw. The Parvez Rasool’s men are also looking favourites to win their ongoing clash against Haryana as tourists are five down, requiring another 121 runs.
Once qualified, J&K will be facing domestic giants Karnataka, who finished second in Group A. However, the good thing is the match is most likely to be played in Jammu.
Nonetheless, it would be quite a challenge for J&K, who will be appearing in quarters of Ranji Trophy for the third time ever, as Karnataka is a host to many Indian and IPL stars.
Moreover, the duo of Kl Rahul and Manish Pandey might also be featuring for them in this match, making the task even tougher for Parvez and Co.
However, the way J&K players have been playing this year, the match might turn out to be an interesting one.
