Srinagar, Feb 29 : N N Sinha, IAS, Secretary, Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi visited Border area of Jammu Frontier of BSF on Saturday.
According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Sinha was accompanied by Pradeep Gupta, Chief Project Manager, CPWD and other BSF officials. “IG BSF Jammu Frontier Sh N S Jamwal briefed the Secretary BM about Jammu border and taken him to the International Border explaining the various intricacies,” a statement issued by a BSF spokesman said. “Sinha visited border post Panser, border post Chandwan and various other important patches all along international border and interacted with BSF officials there”.
The statement issued here said that BSF officials briefed the MHA team about various necessities for better domination of International Border as per the requirement. “Sinha was also apprised by BSF Bn Commanders about various Border Construction works and constraints being faced during their implementation.
Later during the day Sinha held a meeting with N S Jamwal, IG BSF, Jammu Frontier and other BSF officials at BSF HQ Palaura, Jammu and interacted with them.”—
