JAMMU SANSKRITI SCHOOL, JAMMU CULMINATES WEEK LONG INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION ZEALOUSLY

Patriotism and reverence for nation are the status quo which should be prominent in every citizen. With this intend of igniting the spirit of patriotism among children a week long celebration culminated today in Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu. Today the school culminates the celebration with Virtual tour on “My View on J&K) in the benignant presence of Dr Sindu Kapoor (Dean Faculty Social Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu ) as Chief Guest , Ms Sonakshi Ananad (Member of Managing Committee) as Guest of Honour, Ms Mili R .Sumbria (Principal JSS, Kathua) and Ms Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice-Chairperson)

It is admissible to mention that celebration of Independence Day is a tribute that we owe to our Soldiers, Freedom fighters and now Corona Warriors who have put their life at stake to save the nation. This time the school has organised Interschool activities for the celebration in grandeur way. The last activity was Virtual Tour on theme “My view on J&K” which marked its beginning by Dr Sindu Kapoor’s(Chief Guest) address in which she applauded the school for organizing this event as it will help children know about their cultural heritage. She also acknowledged the efforts put in by the school for amalgamating tradition and technology. This was succeeded by presentation of saplings by Ms Avneet Budhraja (Senior Wing Coordinator) , followed by welcome song by Mr Gulshan (Music Teacher) and concluded by a traditional song by Ms Deeksha (Special Educator). Dr Sindhu Kapoor (Chief Guest) in her concluding note advised children to have deep insight into rich cultural tradition of J&K.Ms Sunakshi Anand (Guest of Honour) and MS Mili R . Sumbria congratulated the initiative taken by Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu for providing plethora of opportunities to children in these unprecedented times. The entire notion was conceived by Ms Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice- Chairperson of the school) for the promulgation and channelization of the energy of youth in a constructive way and was given a final shape by Ms Trishna Sharma (CCA coordinator) with technical assistance by Ms Munmun Kohli.

While relinquishing the celebration, Ms Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice- Chairperson of the school) asserted that Covid-19 has opened vistas for all of us resulting in Educators being technocrats, preparing future leaders with great insight and students being self independent. As a matter of fact humans have become more humane thereby contributing substantially for the cause of humanity. She conveyed her heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the entire fraternity who involved themselves in this week long celebration of Independence Day.
