District Administration Pulwama starts fortnightly interactive session with Youth, Students

PULWAMA, AUGUST 18: In order to have a first hand account of larger issues affecting life and getting acquainted with the aspirations of youth and students, district administration Pulwama has started a novel initiative of having an informal fortnightly interactive session with the youth and students of the district.
In its first session hosted today here at DC office complex, scores of students interacted with the Deputy Commissioner and expressed their opinions related to a wide range of issues in an informal atmosphere.
While hosting the tea party, Deputy Commissioner Dr Raghav Langer said that this interaction will be a regular feature in the district every fortnight as part of the initiative of district administration to engage with youth and students of the district, to know about their interest areas, various concerns and seek their views on plethora of issues pertaining to today’s young generation.
Dr Raghav Langer added that a platform is being provided to students where they can discuss wider issues pertaining to life and society in an informal way.
This fortnightly meeting will also serve the purpose of apprising the young generation regarding various initiatives taken by the Govt for their benefit.
