LG will also be appointing officers including the ones from outside the UT of JK to run the system according to the plan that will be chalked out in the first meeting. Non – local officers can also be posted at key positions.
There is a huddle in the officers of the entire UT regarding this meeting. Because in his first speech, it was said on behalf of the Lieutenant Governor that action will be taken against corrupt officials which has not been seen on the ground yet. They could also be removed. It was only after this speech that Sinha asked his personal staff to extract the data of the officers. This was done to figure out posting intervals of bureaucrats. Data was also collected on the officers getting better postings for a long time. Complete information has been gathered about their functioning, which only makes this first meeting more relevant.
