With nationwide drastic rise in the number of COVID positive cases every day, there is a dire need to maintain highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in the Area of Responsibility and also to create awareness amongst the local populace in this regard. By virtue of Kotranka, Chasana and Budhal township being in the remote and outskirts of Rajouri and Reasi Districts respectively, no municipal facility is available for disinfection, fumigation and defogging in the area. Keeping the stated requirement in mind, Indian Army distributed Defogging Machine, Disinfection Machine, Bleaching Powder, Mobile COVID Sampling Booth, Mobile Hand Washing Point and Modified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Rain Coat, Gum Boots, Re-usable Face Shield and Re-usable Gloves) to Community Health Centre Kotranka and Primary Health Centres at Budhal and Chasana.
