Srinagar 16 April: National Conference Senior Leader and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar and DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Nuzhat Ishfaq on Friday has felicitated people on the annual Urs-e-Mubarak of Hazrat Mesha Namatulah Multani Sahib (RA) which will be celebrated on Friday 16 April.
In their message issued to press, Ishfaq Jabbar and Nuzhat Ishfaq said that Hazrat Mesha Namatulah Multani (RA)’s timeless values and teachings continue to guide people towards the righteous path of selfless devotion, spirituality and servitude.
Mr Jabbar while greeting the people said that Mesha Namatulah Multani (RAH) was one among the galaxy of saints who had devoted their life in search of truth and self actualization.
Recalling the contribution of Hazrat Mesha Namatulah Multani (RAH) in the spiritual and social awakening of the people of the region, the former MLA said the society ought to emulate the teachings of moral values, communal harmony, brotherhood and welfare of masses in our present system which were practiced by the late saint during his lifetime.
He said that the need of the hour is to emulate the teachings of such Sufis in our day to day lives. The message of the Sufis is universal which transcends all boundaries.
The DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Nuzhat Ishfaq has urged administration to ensure that all the necessary arrangements are made in advance to facilitate devotees who would throng to the shrine.
“Ensure uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water supply, proper sanitation measures, illumination and decoration of the shrine besides healthcare facilities and security arrangements”, Nuzhat added.
She stressed to adhere to COVID-19 protocols in letter and spirit
While extended greetings to the people of Repora, Lar and other areas of the district, Ishfaq Jabbar appealed the people to maintain social distance and use masks while praying as it is one of most important weapons to defeat COVID-19 and definitely Allah will give us strength and soon normalcy will return.
“Please stay safe and keep your families safe during the COVID19 pandemic by praying and celebratin by following the safety protocols”, Jabbar added.
“I pray that the day fills our lives with peace particularly during existing times when humanity is going through ineffable, yet palpable miseries both inside and outside J&K due to the COVID-19 crises,” he said.
