DC reviews enforcement of corona curfew in Ramban town, adjoining villages
Urges people to follow Covid SoPs
RAMBAN, MAY 12: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, today toured Ramban town and adjoining villages to take stock of implementation of Corona curfew.
A team of senior officers accompanied the DC during the visit. He called upon people to stay indoors and obey the restrictions of corona curfew in letter and spirit.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited ISM Health Centre at Kanthi and interacted with the staff on duty. He enquired about the healthcare facilities being provided to patients there.
The DC advised the persons arrived there to take vaccination to motivate others who are yet to take the same to stay safe from the second Covid surge.
Reiterating the ‘stay-indoors’ advisory, the team of officers also inspected the implementation of corona curfew on Ramban-Makerkot stretch and warned the people to not venture out unnecessarily.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited the Girls Hostel Kanthi and inquired from Tehsildar about local issues and developmental activities going on in the area.
